Individual counseling for adults
Life doesn't come with a manual — and some seasons are harder to navigate than others. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready for something to change, individual counseling offers a space to slow down, gain clarity, and move forward with support.
At Wildflower Counseling & Coaching, we work with adults facing a wide range of challenges, from everyday stress to deeper struggles with anxiety, depression, or life transitions. You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy — you just have to be ready to start.
SUPPORT FOR WHATEVER SEASON OF ADULTHOOD YOU’RE IN
Who This Is For?
This service is designed for adults who are:
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted
Navigating a major life change or transition
Struggling with low self-esteem or self-doubt
Working through grief or loss
Feeling stuck in patterns they want to change
Looking for a nonjudgmental space to be fully themselves
You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out. Many people start therapy simply because something feels off, and that's more than reason enough.
Areas of Focus
We provide individualized support for:
Anxiety — racing thoughts, worry, and physical tension that interfere with daily life
Depression — low mood, loss of motivation, and feelings of hopelessness
Stress & burnout — chronic overwhelm, exhaustion, and difficulty recharging
Life transitions — career changes, relationship shifts, relocation, becoming a parent, and other major turning points
Self-esteem — building a stronger, more compassionate relationship with yourself
Relationship concerns — patterns and challenges affecting your connections with others
Grief — processing loss in a way that honors your own timeline
Personal growth — deepening self-understanding and building the life you want
Our Therapeutic Approach
We tailor every session to the individual, drawing from a blend of evidence-based approaches:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) — identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns that drive anxiety, depression, and stress
Solution-Focused Therapy — focusing on practical steps forward rather than dwelling solely on the problem
Person-Centered Therapy — meeting you with empathy and without judgment, trusting that you are the expert on your own life
Mindfulness — building present-moment awareness to manage stress and emotional reactivity
Strength-Based Therapy — recognizing and building on the strengths you already have
Trauma-Informed Care — approaching every session with sensitivity to how past experiences shape present struggles
There's no one-size-fits-all method here. Your treatment plan is built around what actually works for you.
What to Expect
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another. We'll talk through what brought you to counseling, explore your current concerns, and begin identifying goals for our work together. There's no pressure to share everything right away — we move at whatever pace feels right for you.
Most ongoing sessions run 50–60 minutes, and many clients begin with weekly appointments before transitioning to a schedule that fits their progress and needs.
