Clinical Supervision & Counseling Internships

Grow Into the Therapist You Want to Become

Becoming a counselor involves much more than completing clinical hours. It's about developing confidence, strengthening clinical judgment, learning to trust yourself, and discovering who you are as a therapist.

Wildflower Counseling & Coaching offers clinical training and supervision opportunities for Master's-level counseling students and Missouri CIT/PLPC clinicians working toward professional licensure.

Missouri CIT/PLPC Supervision

Clinical supervision at Wildflower is collaborative, supportive, and growth-focused. Supervision provides a space to discuss difficult cases, strengthen clinical skills, navigate ethical questions, explore countertransference, and develop your professional identity.

Areas of supervision may include:

  • Case conceptualization and treatment planning

  • Assessment and diagnosis

  • Clinical documentation

  • Ethics and professional boundaries

  • Risk assessment and crisis intervention

  • Therapeutic interventions

  • Difficult or complex cases

  • Countertransference and therapist self-awareness

  • Professional development

  • Burnout prevention and boundaries

  • Private-practice development

  • Preparing for independent practice

Individual and small-group supervision opportunities may be available.

Master's-Level Counseling Internships

Wildflower also welcomes inquiries from graduate counseling students seeking practicum or internship placement.

Interns have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive private-practice environment while developing clinical competency and professional confidence.

Internship availability and requirements are coordinated with the student's graduate program.
